The Clarinet

The name of the instrument that I will be playing is The Clarinet. The instruments family is the wood winds.All of the parts of my instrument are

The clarinet plays on the treble clef. The clarinet was invented in the 1600's by a German Company. This instrument makes a low pitch sound. The sound is produced by blowing in to the mouth piece, you mostly use your diaphragm.You assemble this instrument by placing corks with plastic and by twisting it because when you just push or pull it, it will break the cork. I maintain this instrument by cleaning it after I play the instrument , and by putting it away properly.

The Golden Rule

1. The message of the Golden Rule is:Show people respect and to be kind to one another, if that is the way that you want them to treat you.
2. In my own words I would express the Golden Rule as:The way you treat others will be reflected upon your self as you did to others.
3. If everyone accepted and followed the Golden Rule things could be like world peace,wars would end and most people would not want to commit suicide.
4. Sometimes people don't behave according to the Golden Rule because we lose sight of what is really important in life.

Behind My Name: Elizabeth

 Before I started this assignment, I thought my name was English, because of it's pronunciation.
I think my parents chose this name for me because they liked the name for me.

After searching on Behind The Name,I learned that my name means God is a vow.Some other interesting things I learned are that my name is Greek,Hebrew,and English. 

If I could give myself a new name, it would be Isabelle, because everyone says that i look a lot like an Isabelle.

Discrimination and Tolerance

Discrimination basically means to be unfair to people. Like for example: "Hey,Randy could I please play with you guys?"said Fred. "No,we all ready have to many people! Hey, Joe do you want to play with us?" said Randy."Sure!!!"said Freddy. That is an example of somebody being unfair. Another meaning of discrimination is verbal bullying. Verbal bullying means to bully with words. Here is an example of verbal bullying: "Hey there, loser! Your so dumb that I'm making up a new grade to give you ,it's called the trash can!"said the bully."But, what did I do?"said the victim."Nothing!"said the bully."But that's not fair"said the victim.So that is the basic meaning of discrimination. Now,tolerance pretty much means to put up with differences or to tolerate. Witch means that if your different from other they put it aside,and play with you or hang out with you. For example me and my friends are different for different reasons,but we still hang out every day at all of the recesses. Just Dayna,Steph, and I. Every day because that's how good of friends we are!
